Below, I’ve added 280 HD screencaps from the Safe Haven trailer that premiered a few days ago! Julianne portrays Katie, a girl who moves to the small town of Southport to escape her mysterious past. The movie comes out in theaters on February 8th and also stars Josh Duhamel and Cobie Smulders.

Filming has officially wrapped on Safe Haven in North Carolina and Julianne has returned back home to Los Angeles.

I’ve updated the gallery with candids from one of Julianne’s last days on set as well as photos from the Kia Malibu Beach House that she and Derek visited on Friday! It sounds like Julianne has a new movie in the works, slated to begin filming sometime next year! This will be her second project working with Diablo Cody – the first is the still untitled project co-starring Russell Brand. According to Variety:

Having wrapped the lead role in Diablo Cody’s untitled directorial debut, Julianne Hough is now attached to star in the Cody-scripted romantic dramedy “Time and a Half,” which Ol Parker is directing for Groundswell Prods. and Mad Chance Prods.

Hough will play a recent college grad who takes a temp job at a trophy store where she runs into her sister’s high school boyfriend with whom she had a one-night stand.

Groundswell principal Michael London is producing with Andrew Lazar of Mad Chance. The filmmakers are currently casting the role of the protag’s sister, and the project won’t move forward until they find the right actress to compliment Hough.

Should the elements come together, production wouldn’t start until next year.

Groundswell recently produced “Lola Versus” and is currently shooting Naomi Foner’s “Very Good Girls.” Mad Chance is in pre-production on “Parental Guidance Suggested” and “Fellini Black and White.”

Since breaking out on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” Hough has been quick to establish herself as an actress, landing lead roles in a trio of music-themed pics — Screen Gems’ “Burlesque,” Paramount’s “Footloose” and New Line’s “Rock of Ages.” She’s currently filming Relativity’s adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel “Safe Haven” and will next be seen playing against type as a burn victim opposite Russell Brand in Cody’s Mandate Pictures-produced comedy formerly known as “Lamb of God.”

Julianne’s been flying under the radar for the most part the last few weeks, so there hasn’t been much news to report on. For now, I’ve updated the gallery with a lot of high quality photos from the Safe Haven set and some of Julianne and her mother – Marriann – enjoying Oak Island in North Carolina!

Julianne was back to filming ‘Safe Haven‘ yesterday and we’ve added 11 photos to the gallery featuring her filming scenes with co-star Josh Duhamel. From the photos, you can see Julianne is wearing Katie’s uniform from Ivan’s and walking with the bike Alex gives her. Is there a scene from the novel that you’re most looking forward to seeing?

I’ve added 90 high quality photos to the gallery from the last three days of Julianne (and co-star Josh Duhamel) filming on location in Southport for ‘Safe Haven‘. It looks as if Julianne is wearing Katie’s uniform for the seafood restaurant in the third set of pictures and in the first set, you can see Alex’s store in the background!

I know many of you have had questions about when – or if – Julianne’s second album Wildfire would come out and now, in a new interview with AOL’s The Boot, Julianne responds to the rumors and says she most definitely will be returning to her music career sometime in the future.

What’s happening with your music career? You finished your second album for Mercury Nashville awhile ago, right?

It’s completely done. I was really, really looking forward to the record and we released one single from it and it didn’t do too well. Then “Footloose” came about, and everything has been having a lot of momentum with my films. Once you’re on the train, you better ride it so I’m here doing this and I’m loving it. I feel like when I have the time to focus on it, and when I feel like it is the right time, [I'll return to] my music. I love performing. If I’m not performing, there’s something missing in my life. I hope it will happen sooner rather than later, but I’m not gone.
