In celebration of the Met Gala’s punk theme, the actress opted for an updo that complements the spiderweb-like pattern on her Topshop dress.

To get the look, which was inspired by something similar Capri spotted on a Zac Posen runway, she prepped Hough’s hair with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Boost & Lift Foaming Air Mousse for volume in the front and a heat protectant to add shine. After blow-drying she applied Vidal Sassoon Mega Firm Hold Gel before creating three mini ponytails on either side of Hough’s head so the hair would stay taut against her head.

“Basically after that we just pinned and pulled and crossed over throughout until we created the fishnet looking thing.”

Capri used a roller to add lift to Hough’s bangs and after much deliberation, they decided to put her fringe up. She then misted the do with two different Vidal Sassoon hairsprays (“once we decided we loved it, we locked it in with a strong hold formula.”)

We doubt Hough ever went through an actual punk phase, but it appears that she enjoyed her one night as a beauty rebel.

It’s a shame that Julianne is single once again. With her lovely big blue eyes and beautiful smile, talent and sweet personality, you would have thought that potential partners would have formed an orderly queue by now. As it happens though she is back in the same boat as many of us, except it would seem that her prospects seem a little better than the rest of us.

Julianne is the kind of lady you would expect James Bond to keep his eye on during a poker game in Casino Royale. And why wouldn’t he? She’s 24, glamorous, fashionable, cultured, she turns heads regardless of if she’s playing tourist in a country like Denmark, or walking down Hollywood Boulevade playing partycasino.com on her phone, and with the way her career is going right now, she’s certainly a Lady of Luck.

You could imagine her hanging out in the VIP section of a casino in Las Vegas, leaning against the bar casually, with a glass of Champagne in one hand, and a hand tapping against the counter as she watches the poker tournament taking place before her. Her style of dress is totally unique to her personality, so the chance of her blending in with the other women attending is minimal. She’d probably be a pretty formidable force of nature at the poker table actually. Being an actress she could hide her intentions easily enough, and all she’d have to do is smile to get many of the men at the table to forget what they are doing.

Still, we’re sure her luck will turn in favour of her love life soon enough, and she’ll be able to take minibreaks to Copenhagen with a man worthy of her. One who’ll be happy to butter her Danish pastry for her and spoil her rotten.
